Pennsylvania passed the Clean Indoor Air Act on September 10th. Since our bar and dining room are two completely separate areas, with separate HVAC units, and separate entrances it was our choice whether or not to allow smoking in the bar area. We debated about what to do. We decided that a bar is a place for adults and since you have a free will whether or not to enter we will continue to allow smoking in the bar area. We have installed a door at the bottom of the dining room staircase to complete the separation of these areas. No one under 18 years of age is allowed in the bar area. All guests dining with children must enter and exit through the Walnut St door, which is marked “non smoking dining room entrance”. We have installed some benches out by the Walnut St door for your convenience and will be working to make more comfortable arrangements for our non-smoking guests who are waiting to dine with us. We will watch our numbers and listen to our guests relative to any further decisions on the smoking issue. If you would like to voice your opinion on the subject or make a suggestion as to how we might serve you better, please contact us at info@texmexconnection.com.
